Our Team

Our church is a bit unique in that we do not have one person designated as pastor. Several people share the various roles of preaching, teaching, leading worship and organization. We have a Leadership Team, elected from within the membership, that oversees the spiritual and functional life of the church.

JUDITH

When we say "welcome home" we mean it! CFC feels like family to me and it is our church's goal to make other people feel the same. We are quite informal and very flexible. Something to know before you come the first time - we are small, so don't expect to be able to sneak in the back and not be noticed, but we will try not to overwhelm you - we promise!

Something I like about CFC is the variety of people. We don't really fit any one category. I've been part of this church for nearly 20 years and still can't describe us.

Come check it out for yourself. I'll be waiting to meet you!

JACKThe CFC is like a spiritual hospital to me. I go there to get lifted up, loved on, to get encouraged and learn on how to walk with the Lord. My brothers and sisters there are my family, who accept me, love me, and support me.

GARNET

Someone recently said that the Christian Fellowship Center is more like the early church than any church he had ever been a part of. So what specifically did he mean? He said that we have a passion for taking care of our own in various ways. That is consistent with one of our overarching goals which is stated as “member care”. We take seriously our call to care for one another whether it be listening and encouraging or providing a meal or cleaning up a mess after a storm. Of course, that also includes praying for each other during prayer time in our regular church services as well as in our personal prayer time throughout the week. It is this caring attitude that is a strong emphasis in our church and what makes me glad to be a part of CFC.
